What Can I Donate?
All types of cars, vans, SUVs, trucks, boats, jet skis, snowmobiles, trailers, motorcycles, motor homes, RVs, and heavy equipment such as forklifts and tractors. Whether or not the vehicle runs, you can still donate it! For more information on how to donate a car, please call or email.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. Because we only work with charitable organizations that are 501 (c) [3] classified, when you donate a vehicle through CharityCarDonation.com, your donation is tax deductible.
What do I need to do to donate a car or other vehicle?
We prefer title papers when donating a car to charity. However, if you do not have the title papers, it’s OK – other arrangements can be made. Please fill out our vehicle donation form or contact us by phone so that an agent can contact you to arrange the pick-up.
Can I still donate my car even if it hasn't run in years?
Yes! Your junk car or vehicle can be processed even if it doesn't operate. An agent will schedule to have it picked up at no cost to you.

How is the value of my car determined?
According to the IRS, you can claim a tax deduction on a donated vehicle for $500 or the selling price at auction if the amount is over $500. IRS Publication 561 lays out the manner in which you are required to determine the value of donated property. How will the car be picked up?
When you donate a used car, truck, boat, trailer, or RV, your car will be towed away at a prearranged time. Contact us if you want to schedule a vehicle pick-up.
How long will it take to pick up my car?
After you have contacted CharityCarDonation.com and a pick-up appointment has been scheduled, vehicles are generally towed within 24 to 48 hours. Special arrangements can be made for rush pick-ups, so please specify your requirements when you call.
